Here at Walpole Creamery, we mix up limited batches of seasonal flavors every couple of months. For May and June, we’ve combined two of the best flavors of summer into one mouth-watering treat; Strawberry Lemonade!
A delightfully light and refreshing flavor for these early days of summer, Strawberry Lemonade is a fantastic choice in a cone at our parlors, or by the pint!
Penn State ice cream school graduate and our ice cream production manager, Bobby Dorman, created this flavor with an impromptu experiment. He was mixing up a batch of our Strawberry ice cream with fresh, sweet strawberries and our sweet cream base, and decided to throw in some of the extra natural lemon extract he had on hand. The result was both sweet and tart; just perfect for the first warm days of the year!
Our Strawberry Lemonade will be at both of our parlors and in select stores through June. Come out and try it before it’s gone!
